How to Meditate : Easiest method of meditation: Easiest Yoga : Free yoga and meditation

Sit in a comfortable position.
You can sit cross-legged on the floor or sit on a chair  to meditate.
Look at Gurudev's picture for a minute until you can remember the image.
Then close your eyes and pray silently to Gurudev, “Please help me meditate for 20 minutes.”

Think of Gurudev's image at the place between your eyebrows also known as the third eye or agnya chakra.
While thinking of the image, silently chant the name of any divine or spiritual entity you believe in such as Gurudev, Krishna, Jesus, Allah, Holy Father, Om etc.
During meditation, you may experience certain automatic yogic postures or movement of your limbs. Swaying, nodding of head etc. Do not panic or worry.
These kriyas (exercises) are needed to cleanse internally and ready you for your onward spiritual journey.

How do students benefit from GSSY? meditation sharpens focus and concentration

GSSY meditation sharpens focus and concentration.
It makes the practitioner more dynamic.
It increases grasping and retention abilities.
Since GSSY sharpens intuition, the student can follow his instinct and find solutions to many difficult problems.

Makes students more judicious and helps them make very strong decisions.

Difference Between Siddha Yoga and Other Kinds of Yogas

GSSY is ALWAYS free of charge.
In other yogas all exercise are done willfully through a classroom approach – The instructor performs and everyone follows.
In GSSY all yogic postures like bandh, aasanpranayam, khechri-mudra etc occur due to the awakening of the Kundalini.
In GSSY the practitioner does not need to change his lifestyle or diet in anyway.

The practitioner does not have to go for repeat sessions to Guru Siyag or any center.

Signs of the Awakened Kundalini

When the Kundalini awakens, the practitioner experiences involuntary body movements known as Kriyas.
The kriyas are in the form of aasan, bandh (locks) or pranayam (breathing exercises). The practioner may also experience increase in body heat, shivering, shaking or may see lights or colors.
The kriyas have a healing or curing effect on the body.
Only that part of the body experiences kriya which is ailing.
For instance if your shoulder hurts, only the shoulder will experience kriyas and through these will be healed.
Kriyasoccur only during meditation.

Freedom from Stress : yoga : meditation

80 per cent of diseases afflicting the human body are caused by stress.
GSSY heightens the practitioner’s intuition and gives him knowledge of future events.
This way the practitioner is prepared for various changes in his life.

It also gives him knowledge of existence and the purpose of life.

Freedom from Addictions: yoga : meditation

Addictions too are a kind of blockage that prevent the practitioner from progressing on his spiritual journey.
In GSSY, unlike other forms of yoga, you don’t have to give up using the substance, the substance will give you up.
GSSY goes to the root of the problem by destroying the desire to consume a substance.

Practitioner does not experience any withdrawal symptoms.
