Guru Ram Lalji Siyag, 86, is unique among India's Hindu holy men: his followers believe he will fulfil prophecies from the Holy Bible. Siyag began his spiritual journey as a young railway clerk in Bikaner, Rajasthan, when he had premonitions of his own death and sought reassurance from a local guru who said he could only be saved if he chanted a Hindu prayer, the 'Gyatri Mantra' 125,000 times. When he finally completed his mission, he felt his body radiating a powerful white light.


He was later told by Hindu priests that the 'divine glow' he had experienced was a blessing from the Goddess Gayatri, a special divine power known as a 'Siddhi.'
He became a devotee of Baba Shri Gangainathji, a popular local guru in Rajasthan, who, he said, continued to send him messages from the afterlife following his death.
But his most curious religious experience followed a series of dreams in which the Gospel of St John, which he had never read or heard, was revealed to him. His followers now believe Guru Siyag draws on common themes of Christianity, Hinduism and Judaism.

"Guruji has been spearheading a quiet spiritual revolution since the 1985. His disciples worship him as living incarnation of God and believe that he will fulfil prophecies of Bible," one of his disciples told The Daily Telegraph..

Prana is maintaining our life

Prana is maintaining our life. Maybe we can say that the atma (the Self) is prana (energy). You cannot see prana, you cannot measure it, and you cannot destroy it. Prana comes, prana goes. Prana is connected to something for a while. Prana is in the entire body. We cannot say where the soul is located within the body. It is in the whole body. We say that God is in every heart, because the heart is so sensitive, we feel everything there. Some do not believe this and ask, how could God 'sit' in the heart. If you go to a surgeon or cardiologist and ask if he has seen God in the heart while operating, or if there is any special vibration in the heart, he will say: "No, it is the same as all other organs. It is a pump, it weights 300g and when it stops, life is gone."

Some say that God is in the brain and this is also true. In fact, God, I, or the soul cannot be centred, because it is everywhere. That's why Self-realisation is a great problem for many people. Many people think, "When I get Self-realisation I will see my Self in my heart, and know: 'Yes, this is me. Now I can see it!'" But it is not like this. It is very hard to explain what Self-realisation is - what you realise and how you realise the Self. Self is not like the body, which you can see in a mirror or on a photo. How can you see the Self? Self is not like a picture or something that you can close away and say, "Now I have Self-realisation". It's not something that you can have. Self, prana, mantra and life you cannot describe. You can talk and talk, yet however hard you try, the Self is still something different. You cannot define it. It's like an onion: you take away all the layers, but still you cannot grasp the "onion".

आज के इस अशान्त तथा भौतिकतावादी वातावरण में जो भी साधक ध्यान करते हैं वे विश्व का कल्याण करते हैं क्योंकि "जो पिंडे सो ब्रह्माण्डे''। जब-जब एक भी चित्त शान्त होता है, तो शान्ति से पूर्ण तरंगे ब्रह्माण्ड में भी शान्ति का संचार करती हैं। ऐसे ही यदि अधिक से अधिक लोग ध्यान करें तो जगत में शान्ति स्थापित करने में ये बहुत बड़ा योगदान होगा, क्यूँकि हमारे भीतर की प्रकृति ही बाहर की प्रकृति को निर्धारित करती है। आज के युग में सबसे अधिक जिस वस्तु की आवश्यकता है वह है-शान्ति। तो क्यूँ न हम सब प्रभु के दिए जीवन में से थोड़ा-थोड़ा समय ध्यान के लिए लगाकर स्वयं को तथा विश्व को शान्ति देने का महान कार्य करें?

जागिये -- आप देवता हैं !

अद्वैतवाद कहता है — अन्ततः सब एक है। गहराई में जाकर सब एक हो जाता है — आत्मा, प्रकृति, परमात्मा, ब्रह्म। जो विशुद्ध चेतना है, वह ही माया है। जो प्राण है, वह ही आकाश है। जो ऊर्जा है, वह ही पदार्थ है।

कितने आश्चर्य की बात है! आज विज्ञान भी यही कह रहा है — जो आकाश (matter) है, वह ही प्राण (energy) है। जो ऊर्जा है वही पदार्थ है। इतना ही नहीं, विज्ञान ने इन दोनों के सम्बन्ध को जोडने वाला समीकरण भी हमें दिया है। आइन्स्टीन ने अपने इसी समीकरण (E=mc2)के लिये ही तो इतनी ख्याति पाई है।

अद्वैतवाद की परिधारणा (concept) मानव-बुद्धि की पराकाष्ठा पर पहुँचती है और फिर उस के बाहर (परे) निकल जाती है। क्योंकि परमात्मा बुद्धि से नहीं जाना जा सकता, इसलिये बुद्धि से परे जाना आवश्यक हो जाता है। यह काम कठिन है, दुरूह है और साधारण जनता की समझ के बाहर है। इसीलिये भारत में जन्मी अद्वैतवाद की परिधारणा इतने वर्षों के बाद भी आम जनता तक नहीं पहुँच पाई।

लेकिन आप आम जनता नहीं हैं। आप साधारण लोग नहीं हैं। आप पढ़े-लिखे हैं, समझदार हैं, विज्ञान की आधुनिक परिकल्पनाओं (theories) से भी परिचित हैं। आप अद्वैतवाद की परिधारणा पर विचार कर सकते हैं। इसीलिये अद्वैतवाद के अद्वितीय सिद्धान्त को आपके समक्ष प्रस्तुत करने में हमें संकोच नहीं है। हमें विश्वास है कि हमारे उपनिषदों के ऋषियों की तपस्या-फल से आप लाभान्वित हो सकते हैं।

यहाँ न किसी का जन्म होता है न किसी की मृत्यु होती

हमारे ब्रह्मांड का मुख्य घटक द्रव्य है, इसे हम दो भागों में बांट सकते हैं, 1 सूक्ष्म 2 स्थूल द्रव्य सूक्ष्म रूप में रहता है, जबकि पृथ्वी सहित अन्य ग्रहों एवं उपग्रहों पर सारा द्रव्य स्थूल रूप में रहता है। हमारा सारा ब्रह्मांड गतिशील एवं परिवर्तनशील है हम देखते हैं कि यहां प्रत्येक जीव एवं वनस्पति का जन्म होता है एवं उसका जीवन काल पूरा होने पर मृत्यु होती है, इसी प्रकार निर्जीव पदार्थ बनते एवं नष्ट होते रहते हैं, परंतु वास्तविकता यह नहीं है यहां न किसी का जन्म होता है न किसी की मृत्यु होती है यहां सिर्फ द्रव्य का रूप परिवर्तन होता है। इसी को हम जन्म मृत्यु का नाम दे देते हैं, इसलिए इस संसार को मायावी जगत या नश्वर जगत भी कहते हैं। यह द्रव्य ईश्वर से लेकर स्थूल पदार्थों तक अपना रूप परिवर्तन करने में सक्षम होता है, सूक्ष्म द्रव्य जैसे प्रकाश तरंग शब्द विचार मन आदि स्थूल पदार्थ जैसे सजीव निर्जीव ग्रह उपग्रह आदि, सब इसी द्रव्य से उत्पन्न होते हैं एवं इसी द्रव्य में लीन होते हैं। स्वयं ब्रह्मांड भी इससे अछूता नहीं है इसका भी जन्म एवं मृत्यु होती है हमारा सूर्य अपने अंतिम समय में फैलने लगता है एवं अपने सभी ग्रहों को भस्म कर अपने में लीन कर लेता है इसके बाद इसका ठंडा होना एवं सिकुडना शुरू होता है अंत में यह ब्लेक होल एक कृष्ण विवर में बदल जाता है जिसमें कि असीमित गुरूत्वाकर्षण होता है इतना कि यहां से कोई तरंग या प्रकाश भी परावर्तित नहीं हो सकता अत: इन्हें किसी प्रकार देखा नहीं जा सकता । वैज्ञानिकों ने ब्रह्मांड में इनकी उपस्थिति का पता लगा लिया है, इसी प्रकार जब ब्रह्मांड के सभी सूर्य एवं तारे कृष्ण विवर में परिवर्तित हो जाते हैं तब ये अपने असीमित गुरूत्वाकर्षण के कारण एक दूसरे में समा जाते हैं एवं एक पिंड का रूप ले लेते हैं इस पिंड में ब्रह्मांड का सारा द्रव्य ईश्वर रूप में होता है। इतने अधिक दबाव पर द्रव्य परमाणु या अन्य किसी रूप में नहीं रह सकता इसी को जगत का ईश्वर में लीन होना कहते हैं। जब इस पिंड का संपीडन अपने चरम बिंदु पर पहुंचता है तब इसमें महाविस्फोट होता है इस महा विस्फोट के कारण ब्रह्मांड असंख्य वर्षों तक फैलता रहता है।
